Choosing the best care for your loved one is a huge decision.

At Cedars Castle Hill Nursing Home we provide our residents with the highest quality professional care for individuals with dementia. We also provide palliative care and respite care.

Arranging care can be an anxious time for families.

Getting older we can all benefit from some extra support, therefore finding a residential home with caring and compassionate staff can ease the burden of everyday tasks, and even isolation.

At our home we work very closely with every resident to get a clear understanding of their care needs. We’re incredibly proud of our well-trained staff who make sure every resident is cared for individually.

We offer both respite care and full time care.

Cedars Nursing Home was purchased by the Charity in 1990.

The Trustees were able to raise further charitable support to acquire and reconfigure this listed building, located in Angel Lane, Shaftesbury, now known as the Cedars Nursing Home which opened to residents in 1994.

After a final project in 2010/11 to add further space within the inevitable limitations of the building footprint and listed status.

Providing care with dignity and respect

We have been awarded Platinum Standard Framework Beacon Status for end of life care.

We are sensitive to the needs of the residents who have dementia and those who are elderly and frail and we fully promote the integration of residents’ relatives and friends to be included in the daily life of each of the homes.

We welcome feedback from everybody involved and hold relative and friends meetings on a regular basis.
